Embroidery workshop: textile herbarium

Description

As part of our current exhibition, discover the work of Julie Percillier, artist and textile landscaper, through an introductory embroidery workshop on the theme of tea.

In this workshop for beginners, immerse yourself in the art of embroidery and create a unique textile herbarium dedicated to tea. You'll learn different embroidery stitches while working on an emblematic botanical model: the Camellia sinensis, the tea plant.

Guided step-by-step, you'll leave with an embroidered herbarium of your own creation, mounted on a specially designed backing.

The workshop will take place in a small group, with a maximum of 8 participants, to encourage a convivial exchange of ideas and know-how in the best possible conditions. All necessary materials are provided. All you have to do is give free rein to your creativity!
