The Darjeeling Makaïbari plantation has been cultivating biodynamically and respecting fair trade principles for over 30 years.
Grown with particular care, this tea comes from the first harvest of 2025 after the long winter months. Only the bud and the first two leaves are picked.
The 2025 harvest is distinguished by its long finish and typical muscatel notes. More oxidized (than our Darjeeling Singell, for example), more “black tea” in character, it offers malty, fruity notes reminiscent of fresh grapes. Its tannins are delicately melted, and it has a typical fine astringency. Very elegant and structured.
