Perfect for making whipped teas and Hojicha lattes, discover the powdered version of this famous Japanese roasted green tea. Low in theine, perfect to accompany a meal, Hojicha is a tea with gourmet, comforting notes of toasted wood, reminiscent of hazelnut.
HOJICHA LATTE: OUR RECIPE
Hot version:
- Sift 2g of Hojicha powder directly into your mug.
- Heat 250ml of milk (animal or vegetable, depending on your taste; we recommend organic oat milk for a creamy froth).
- Pour the milk over the tea and froth with a milk frother.
Cold version:
- Place ice cubes in your glass
- Fill the glass 3/4 full with milk
- Prepare your Hojicha separately, like a matcha: in a bowl, sift 1 to 2g of Hojicha, add 10cl of water and whisk until frothy. Adjust the quantities according to your taste, desired intensity and quantity of milk.
- Pour the Hojicha into the glass, directly over the milk and ice cubes.
