Organic Japanese Gyokuro green tea from a cross between the Saemidori and Tsuyuhikari cultivars.
This cultivar produces teas with a delicate flavor. This year, it offers rich, refreshing marine and iodine notes with a pleasant umami taste. A lovely long finish completes the tasting experience. The liquor is slightly cloudy, pale yellow but bright with a hint of green.
Terroir : Kagoshima, volcanic and mountainous terrain in southern Japan.

Gyokuro is a so-called shaded tea (kabusecha): the tea bushes are covered with a cloth for 21 days before harvesting. This removes 90% of the sunlight and forces the tea plant to feed more intensely in the soil. It develops an incredible sweetness and umami flavor. It is the sweetest and most umami of our Japanese early teas.
Our Gyokuro is sold exclusively in hermetically sealed 50g bags.
All our Japanese teas are imported by air and then stored in refrigerators at 4 degrees Celsius in France.

Préparation
In the Kyusu, multiple infusions: 1 minute 15 seconds for the first infusion, then 5 seconds for the second infusion and 5 seconds for the third infusion.Organic Shaded Japanese Green Tea
